Asan Operator ContinuousMarkets,you will be the bridge between the customer and the technology.Youare responsible for contributing to the day-to-day operations of the power market including market coupling and technological development of the market platform and its products and services. 

Your responsibilities: 

• Managedaily and weekendoperationalroutines fortheContinuouspowermarket in Europe. 

• Securecontinuousimprovementof businessprocesses tomeetcustomerexpectations and tosecurerobustoperations incomplextechenvironment. 

• Technical supportof trading andmarketcoupling systemsincluding testingof relevantoperational andcustomerfacingplatforms. 

• Contribute tothedevelopmentof NordPool’s tradingplatforms andproductoffering 

• Deliverexcellentcustomer service duringday-to-dayoperations. 

• Participate in NordPool’sdevelopmentprojectsacrossthe Europeanpowermarkets. 

• Be partofour 24/7rotationalduty arrangementsrelated tooperationsofthe Europeanpowermarketincluding weekend andnightshiftsondutyobligations. 

Your profile: 

• Higher education in IT, engineering,energy or economics. 

• Experience using IT tools such as Grafana for monitoring and support. 

• Experience working in operations dependent on complex IT infrastructure. 

• Basic understanding of Azure Cloud Technology, ApacheKafka and MQis an advantage. 

• Understanding of software development cycle and Agilemethodology. 

• Interest in technology and how it can improve business processes and customer service. 

• Knowledge of the power market is an advantage but not a requirement if you have an interest to learn. 

• Excellent English skills and fluency in at least one Scandinavianlanguage.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• Curious and technology-oriented mindset. 

• Service-oriented, with strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative approach.
