New Brunswick Counseling Center is seeking a Security Administrative Officer. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, security, and professionalism of our facility while supporting administrative and operational functions.
Responsibilities:Â
- Monitor entrances, exits, and visitorflowÂ
- Escort disruptive or unauthorized persons off propertyÂ
- Patrol building and perimeter regularlyÂ
- Report suspicious incidents to supervisorimmediatelyÂ
- Assist with toxicology samplemonitoringÂ
- Provide first aid/CPR and call 911 whennecessaryÂ
- Support safety trainings, monthly inspections, and agency protocolsÂ
- Assist with telehealth setup and light sanitationdutiesÂ
- Answer phones, screen calls, and direct inquiriesÂ
- Assist with movement and organization of supplies.Â
- Additional duties as assigned.Â
Qualifications:Â
- High School Diploma or equivalentÂ
- SORA certification (must bemaintained/renewed)Â
- CPR certificationÂ
- Security experience in healthcare/mental health settingspreferred.Â
- Ability to stand for shifts and interact professionally with thepublic.Â
- Must pass pre-employment screenings and backgroundchecks.Â
Schedule:Â
- Part-time:18–22 hours/weekÂ
- Monday–Friday, 5:45 AM – 12:30 PM (any 3 days as assigned by agency)Â
- Saturday, 5:45 AM – 9:30 AM (rotational)Â
- Closed Sundays & majorholidays.Â
Work Environment:Â
Walking, standing, stooping; occasionallylifting up to 25 lbs.Â
