Neurologist – Outpatient & Inpatient

Job Description:

A full-time opportunity is available for a Neurologist to join a community-based practice offering a unique blend of autonomy and system-wide support. This role combines outpatient neurology with inpatient rounding responsibilities, allowing physicians to maintain a diverse clinical practice. As a solo neurologist in the practice, you will have the opportunity to shape your workflow while benefiting from a strong referral network, integrated technology, and collaboration with a larger healthcare system.

• Combination of outpatient clinic and inpatient rounding

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings
• Provide general neurology consultations and ongoing patient management
• Perform and interpret EMG studies as part of outpatient care
• Participate in inpatient rounding and management of acute neurological conditions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and specialty providers
• Interpret or coordinate EEG studies with neurology colleagues
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation using EMR systems
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with a focus on continuity

Requirements:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Neurology Residency Program
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted New York medical license
• DEA certification
• Open to new graduates and experienced physicians
• Strong clinical, diagnostic, and interpersonal skills
• Interest in practicing with autonomy while collaborating within a larger system
