Utility Arborist or Arborist Assistant

Network Waitaki is looking for either a qualifiedUtility Arborist or an enthusiasticArborist Assistant to join our vegetation team. Whether you're an already experienced utility arborist or looking to start a career in the industry, we'd love to hear from you.

Working across North Otago and beyond, you'll help manage vegetation around electricity networks, customer lines and private properties, contributing to the safety and reliability of essential infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

• Vegetation trimming and tree management around electricity networks
• Supporting network reliability and public safety
• Working with a skilled and experienced team
• Operating and maintaining specialist equipment and machinery
• Responding to fault and emergency work when required
• Delivering great service to customers and landowners
  

We're interested in hearing from:

Utility Arborists

• Experienced and qualified arborists
• Tree climbing and/or EWP experience
• Strong commitment to health and safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  

Arborist Assistants

• People keen to build a career in arboriculture
• Practical, physically fit and enjoy working outdoors
• Willing to learn and complete training and industry qualifications
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
