Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructures, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.

Develop and implement network policies and procedures to ensure high availability, performance, and security.

Participate across multiple network security domains, including but not limited to: network security monitoring, incident response support, vulnerability scanning & assessment, security patch management, firewall & access control, security/network documentation, security awareness, and collaborative troubleshooting.

Participate in network capacity planning and recommend upgrades and enhancements as needed.

Collaborate with cross functional teams to support business initiatives and deploy new network solutions.

Plan and execute network changes, upgrades, and migrations with minimal disruption to operations.

Configure and integrate WAN/LAN environments, including MPLS, SD-WAN, and cloud networks.

Mentor junior network engineers, providing guidance on best practices and troubleshooting techniques.

Qualifications

Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems, Information Security, Computer Networking, Data Science or a related field, and 1 year of related work experience; or a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems, Information Security, Computer Networking, Data Science or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:

Designing, configuring, and maintaining a comprehensive network telemetry stack utilizing Prometheus and Grafana integrated with custom Meraki and Palo Alto exporters;

Analyzing and monitoring real-time performance metrics, including link health, latency, jitter, and throughput, across data centers and edge environments to ensure high availability;

Architecting and implementing secure hybrid-cloud connectivity using BGP, MPLS, and IPsec VPNs to establish high-performance links between AWS and on-premises environments;

Incident response and real-time network diagnostics using SNMP polling, syslog aggregation, and Grafana dashboards for proactive alerting and rapid resolution;

Implementing network topology visualization and automated path tracing to accelerate complex diagnostics and streamline root-cause identification across hybrid environments; and

Automating network configuration and monitoring using Python, Ansible, and REST APIs to implement self-healing responses and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) workflows.

Travel Requirement: Domestic travel required up to 5%.
