Job Description – Network Security Engineer
• Act as SME and escalation point for global network security operations.
• Troubleshoot complex network and firewall-related issues.
• Perform daily monitoring of security infrastructure, logs, and tools; respond to alerts proactively.
• Maintain and optimize SolarWinds-based security monitoring and alerting.
• Continuously apply vulnerability patches and coordinate with vendors on remediation recommendations.
• Collaborate with the Information Security & Compliance team on network security initiatives.
• Lead escalations and incident response for P1–P3 tickets.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, problem management, RCA, and stability enhancement activities.
Global Network Solutions & Projects:
• Participate in global projects such as site buildouts, new acquisitions, technology refreshes, and deployments.
• Stabilize newly deployed network security solutions.
• Support stakeholder communication and business engagement for deployments and improvements.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends/holidays for operations or project needs.
Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a technology field or equivalent experience/certification.
• 5+ years of hands-on network and security experience.
• Strong experience in Palo Alto and Fortinet firewall troubleshooting and deployments.
• Exposure to Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, and ACI is a plus.
