Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer with expertise in Cisco SD-WAN design, implementation, and support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco SD-WAN technologies and Palo Alto firewalls, along with a strong understanding of enterprise networking, security architecture, and troubleshooting. Relevant Cisco certifications are mandatory for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support enterprise-wide Cisco SD-WAN solutions.
- Manage SD-WAN deployments, migrations, upgrades, and optimization activities.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Cisco SD-WAN controllers and edge devices.
- Design and maintain secure WAN connectivity across multiple sites and cloud environments.
- Implement network security best practices using Palo Alto firewalls.
- Configure and manage security policies, NAT, VPNs, routing, and firewall rules.
- Perform network performance analysis, capacity planning, and issue resolution.
- Troubleshoot complex routing, switching, connectivity, and security-related incidents.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure seamless network operations.
- Create and maintain network architecture diagrams, design documents, and operational procedures.
- Participate in change management, incident management, and problem management processes.
- Ensure network solutions comply with organizational security and governance standards.

- Experience supporting enterprise-scale network environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Candidates must possess one or more relevant certifications such as:
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP Enterprise)
- Cisco SD-WAN Specialist Certification
- Palo Alto PCCET / PCNSA / PCNSE (preferred)
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with network automation and scripting tools.
- Exposure to multi-vendor network environments.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) concepts.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Mandatory networking/security certifications.
- Willingness to work from Chennai location.
