About The Job:

- Responsible for handling network operations, incident management, and ensuring SLA-driven delivery for LAN/WAN environments.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for handling network operations, incident management, and ensuring SLA-driven delivery for LAN/WAN environments.
- Handle tickets / service requests in SLA timelines.
- Perform troubleshooting of network issues (LAN/WAN environments).
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents.
- Ensure adherence to defined processes and operational guidelines.
- Support installation, configuration, and migration activities.
- Maintain maximum uptime as per SLA commitments.
- Mentor and support junior team members [Network_L2 | Word]
Qualifications:
Skill Requirements
- Responsible for handling network operations, incident management, and ensuring SLA-driven delivery for LAN/WAN environments.
- Handle tickets / service requests in SLA timelines.
- Perform troubleshooting of network issues (LAN/WAN environments).
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents.
- Ensure adherence to defined processes and operational guidelines.
- Support installation, configuration, and migration activities.
- Maintain maximum uptime as per SLA commitments.
- Mentor and support junior team members [Network_L2 | Word]
- Additional Enrichment (from internal JDs & demand mails)
- To make it more complete and ready for hiring, typical expectations also include:
- Routing & Switching (Cisco)
- LAN / WAN / WLAN troubleshooting
- Routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP
- VLAN, STP, ACL, NAT
- SD-WAN (preferred)
- Firewall basics (Cisco / Palo Alto)
- Work in 24x7 / shift environment (if applicable)
- Follow ITIL practices (Incident / Change / Problem management)
- Work with global teams & vendors [Immediate...da/Chennai | Outlook], [Network Da...equirement | Outlook]
- 4–7 years in Network Data domain
- Certification: CCNA (mandatory), CCNP (preferred)
- Experience in enterprise network support (NOC / Operations)
