Roles & Responsivities
Architectural (Design of TR spaces based on building size/IT requirements)
• Mechanical (HVAC size based on IT equipment specs)
• Electrical (UPS sizing, pathway design based on IT requirements)
• Cabling SOW (backbone, horizontal cabling - fiber/copper/specialty)
• Site Assessments (Schematic Design and estimation tool)
• IT Design (Design Development/Construction Documents for follow-on engineering)
• Cabling SOWs (CD/Add Move Change for IT and Regulatory Device connectivity)
• Experience with one or more engineering software packages; Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Solidworks
Must have Experience
- 10+ years of experience in low-voltage cabling and infrastructure design
- Direct experience
- Strong experience with structured cabling (i.e. Category 5, Category 6a and Fiber Optic Structured Cable Distribution Systems
- Experience designing data/telecom rooms and infrastructure layouts
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar design tools
- Ability to work both onsite and in the field as needed
- Strong communication and documentation skills
