Network Engineer

Pay Range:$60/hr - $80/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain Wireless Access Points and Wireless Controllers
• Develop and implement network automation solutions using tools like Python and Ansible
• Manage and optimize network performance, availability, and security
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for network integration and deployment
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and perform root cause analysis
• Maintain up-to-date network documentation and operational procedures
• Participate in change management and continuous improvement initiatives

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• 5+ years of network engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong expertise in Layer 2/Layer 3 switching (VLANs, VRRP, MC-LAG, STP, VTP, PortChannel) and routing protocols (OSPF/BGP)
• Hands-on experience with network automation tools (Python, Ansible, or similar)
• Familiarity with major networking platforms (e.g., Cisco, Arista, Juniper)
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network security fundamentals
• Experience with REST APIs and network programmability concepts
• Deep experience with software architecture, API contract design, and data schema rules
• Proficiency in automated verification criteria and testing methodologies
