Essential Job Functions:
- Implement, configure, and manage network components, including Azure vWAN, Fortinet Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Load Balancers, VPN, Client, and Wi-Fi technologies (Cisco and Meraki devices).
- Ensure continuous operation of global network solutions, including SD-WAN, MPLS, Data Center Switching, IPSec Tunnels, BGP, LAN, Wi-Fi, and vTM.
- Work as part of the infrastructure team on capacity planning, initiative planning, performance tuning, and network migrations.
- Monitor infrastructure components and take corrective action when defects or problematic trends are discovered.
- Author, update, and deliver detailed documentation of system-level procedures, configurations, and standards.
- Document network builds using Microsoft Visio.
- Take an active role in the technology lifecycle, including design, development, implementation, commissioning, monitoring, operations, and troubleshooting.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network administration of Cisco IOS, FortiGate, and Meraki platforms.
- Strong understanding of L2L site connectivity across all platforms.
- Strong understanding of large-scale Fortinet, Cisco Catalyst, and Meraki network deployments.
- Strong understanding of Azure vWAN.
- Strong understanding of BGP Routing.
- Strong understanding of VSS.
- Strong understanding of Data Center Switching.
- Strong understanding of Routers, Switches, and Security Devices.
- Strong understanding of FortiGate.
- Demonstrated knowledge of DNS.
- Demonstrated knowledge of SSL.
- Demonstrated knowledge of RADIUS.
- Demonstrated knowledge of ESP.
- Demonstrated knowledge of PKI (Certificates Framework).
- Demonstrated knowledge of 802.1x.
- Network Virtualization.
- Azure Cloud Management.
- Virtual Traffic Managers.
- FortiManager.
- FortiAnalyzer.
- ManageEngine Key Manager.
- Strong analytical skills in network administration, troubleshooting, performance testing, and design.
