The Network Analyst supports and maintains the data, voice and wireless networks and evaluates network management and monitoring products. This position monitors all network systems for potential problems and implements new network projects. The position makes recommendations for upgrades in order to support new technology or customer requests and provides an additional level of maintenance and support for all network systems. This position will develop and maintain relationships with network users and vendors to provide the best solutions to customer needs. The position will support the core network hardware and software installations and changes. This individual must have good technical and analytical skills with hands-on network and systems experience. The position requires someone with collaboration and open communication skills along with a positive outlook and good project management skills.Essential Duties:

- Maintain, configure, upgrade and support all campus networks including data, voice and wireless and related systems
- Install, integrate and support new and existing systems and applications as needed
- Monitor network performance which includes availability, utilization, throughput and latency
- Monitor network security systems and respond to potential threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents in coordination with cybersecurity and IT staff
- Maintains firmware, operating systems, and software updates for network infrastructure devices and related systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues and proactively optimize network performance and security measures
- Resolve problems reported by end-users
- Research and make recommendations on computer systems and network systems
- Analyzes system and network logs to identify source of errors and collaborates with IT team to resolve both hardware and software problems as needed
- Maintains a status list for all projects along with insuring deadlines are met and expectations exceeded. This includes providing a weekly status project summary to IT leadership
- Travel to offsite locations to troubleshoot and repair issues as needed
- Builds positive relationships with customers, vendors, and stakeholders while providing excellent technical service and support
- Additional duties may be assigned as necessary to support the goals and objectives of the department and college
Rate of Pay $48,671 annualized *Higher compensation may be considered based on qualifications directly related to position.
This is a 100% in-person position. Not a remote position.

Minimum Qualifications:
- The formal education equivalent of an associate degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, networking, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in network administration, systems administration, or enterprise technology environments supporting multiple business and technical operations
- Two (2) years of experience serving in a lead technical or systems administration capacity, including coordinating projects, implementing technology solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
- Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise networking, systems administration, information security, scripting and automation, disaster recovery planning, and industry best practices for maintaining secure and reliable technology environments
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Â Knowledge of switching, routing, wireless networking, VLANs, DNS, DHCP technologies, and network security principlesKnowledge of computer systems and network hardware and software
- Knowledge of system and network design proceduresKnowledge of the application systems in automation of information systems
- Knowledge on how to create system and end-user reports and document various procedures
- Ability to review results, determine the source of problems/errors and devise corrective actions
- Ability to analyze and modify existing computer and network systems
- Ability to discern necessary support actions/input and to write detailed actions and procedures for non-technical personnel
- Ability to understand relevant detail from oral information and explain technical terms and information
- Ability to determine costs and resource requirements of project
- Should have strong time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills
