Salary Range:
$72,950.00 - $109,908.00Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Administer, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise Cisco networking infrastructure, including Nexus and Catalyst switching platforms, utilizing Cisco NX-OS, IOS, and IOS-XE operating systems. Maintain Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies, including VLANs, 802.1Q trunking, STP, LACP, vPC, SVIs, HSRP, VRFs, and inter-VLAN routing.
• Manage and support enterprise routing and switching architecture, including BGP, OSPF, static routing, ACLs, port channels, network segmentation, and high-availability configurations. Perform advanced troubleshooting, configuration backups, firmware upgrades, and network recovery to ensure reliable connectivity across CCUA facilities and data centers
• Manage assigned work group to include daily feedback, performance management, and work planning; provide guidance and leadership to foster a successful team environment.
• Perform network maintenance, including hardware and software updates, compliance, security, and troubleshooting, to ensure CCUA’s network functions properly with minimal downtime. This includes administration and support of Cisco and FortiGate network equipment.
• Assist in maintaining physical servers, applications, hypervisors, and network configurations across the enterprise, including virtualized VMware environments and data center infrastructure.
• Ensure IT systems are utilized at their fullest capacity through supportive end-user training and guidance.
• Utilize expert knowledge to provide technical support and problem-solving advice to internal customers, including support of Help Desk escalations for complex network, server, virtualization, cloud, and security issues.
• Assign resources, provide problem-solving, and manage assigned projects related to IT capability within CCUA, including technology updates, equipment replacement, and hardware/software upgrades.
• Perform server maintenance to ensure the CCUA computing environment remains updated, secure, and functioning properly. Administer and support cloud services and infrastructure, including Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Manage enterprise firewalls supporting remote sites and main office operations while maintaining alignment with cybersecurity best practices. Apply patches and analyze security vulnerabilities. Support endpoint and network security technologies including Carbon Black and Netmotion Secure Access.
• Serve as a technical lead for network and network infrastructure projects. Monitor enterprise infrastructure availability, performance, and capacity.
• Ensure compliance through proper documentation and records maintenance. Create and maintain accurate Visio network diagrams, infrastructure documentation, configuration records, technical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other technical documentation. Experience with JIRA and Confluence is preferred.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems, particularly for network administration, troubleshooting, scripting, and automation tasks, preferred.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
