As a Network Administrator at Ubisoft Montréal, you will help maintain and improve the infrastructure used by our global network team. You will also resolve complex issues raised by our partners and support other administrators.

What you’ll do

• Install and maintainnetwork equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls and load balancers
• Deploy and maintainprivate network links and dedicated peering connections
• Assess new requirements and technical designs, and help definestandards, guidelines and metrics
• Increase the use ofautomation to improve consistency and efficiency
• Monitor and troubleshootnetwork infrastructure and services, including complex issues raised by partners
• Applynetwork security policies and procedures
• Managenetwork capacity, improve performance and contribute to expansion plans for networks and systems
• Maintainnetwork hardware and software documentation
• Respond touser inquiries and service requests
• Mentor newer administrators and serve as atechnical resource for the team

What you bring to the team

• Extensive experience innetwork administration
• Expertise inrouting, including Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and Open Shortest Path First (OSPF)
• Expertise inswitching, including virtual local area networks (VLANs), Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), EtherChannel, VLAN Trunking Protocol (VTP), and Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols
• Ability to develop approaches tocomplex, unfamiliar network problems
• Knowledge ofLinux and cloud networking in Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure, an asset
• Experience withPython, Ansible and automation pipelines, including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), an asset
• Strongcommunication skills, including the ability to explain complex information to people at all levels of management
• Sound judgment and critical thinking, with a commitment to flagging governance or priority concerns and handling information with integrity and confidentiality
