Netskope Proxy / Security Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Netskope Proxy / Cloud Security Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, administering, and troubleshooting Netskope security solutions. The role will focus on Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), data protection, web traffic security, policy management, and integration with enterprise identity and networking platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Netskope Secure Web Gateway (SWG) and proxy infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain Netskope security policies for web, cloud applications, users, groups, and devices.
• Manage URL filtering, web-category policies, application controls, SSL/TLS inspection, and traffic steering.
• Configure and troubleshoot Netskope Client, steering configurations, and network traffic forwarding.
• Implement and manage CASB policies to monitor and control SaaS and cloud application usage.
• Configure Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies to protect sensitive and confidential information.
• Investigate proxy and web-security incidents using Netskope logs, events, alerts, and reporting.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, authentication, certificate, SSL inspection, DNS, and traffic-steering issues.
• Work with packet-capture tools such as Wireshark to analyze network and application traffic.
• Integrate Netskope with enterprise identity providers such as Active Directory, LDAP, SAML, and SSO platforms.
• Configure user and group-based policies and troubleshoot authentication or identity synchronization issues.
• Manage security exceptions, allowlists, blocklists, and policy changes according to business requirements.
• Monitor Netskope dashboards and investigate security events and anomalous activity.
• Collaborate with Network, SOC, IAM, Endpoint, Cloud, and Application teams to resolve security and connectivity issues.
• Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, change management, and problem management.
• Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and network/security diagrams.
• Support migration from traditional proxy solutions to Netskope cloud security architecture.
