Day-to-Day Responsibilities
-
Design, develop, maintain, and enhance internally developed applications and automation solutions supporting enterprise Windows Server operations
-
Build and modify web applications, integrate systems through APIs, create and maintain SQL database objects
-
Troubleshoot application issues and partner with infrastructure engineers to automate operational processes
-
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, implementation, documentation, and ongoing support
-
Support workflow automation and integration efforts involving ServiceNow and other enterprise platforms (incidents, changes, vulnerabilities, compliance, asset lifecycle, operational work management)
-
Collaborate with server engineers, project teams, compliance stakeholders, and leadership to identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and enhanced service delivery
Duties Breakdown

20% Ensure team members understand business requirements, maintain organizational standards, and deliver applications on time

20% Maintain and modify programs, code, compile, and implement software within budget

20% Test modified programs, verify logic, debug, and document

20% Analyze production systems, recommend enhancements, instruct support teams, and coordinate implementations

20% Analyze/evaluate existing or proposed systems, develop functional/technical specifications, diagrams, and workflows
