The Opportunity

As theCommercial Finance Supervisor, you will support the Commercial Finance Manager in driving financial performance, control, and accountability within the commercial organization.

This role is responsible for overseeing monthly financial processes, ensuring compliance, providing accurate reporting, and strengthening governance related to trade spend, commitments, and distributor-related financial activities. The position requires strong analytical skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including CCD, Sales, Supply Chain, and Accounting.

What You’ll Do

Financial Reporting & Monitoring

• Prepare and maintainTrade & Ethical Discount Monitoring Reports to track usage of the discount.
• PerformMonthly Actual Commitment Review and ensure alignment with budgets and forecasts.
• ConductOpen PO Reviews for month-end closing purposes, ensuring PO accuracy and closure of unused commitments.
• ExecuteMonthly OPEX Monitoring, analyze variances, and highlight potential risks/opportunities.
• PerformMonthly Alignment Spend with CCD / Trade Marketing to ensure accurate reporting and provision.

Process & Governance

• Maintainoverbudget checker tools to strengthen internal control.
• SupportMonth End Closing activities, ensuring accuracy of accruals, provisions, and reclasses.
• ManageWithholding Tax Slips Aging, following up with the tax team to ensure timely issuance and clearance.

Distributor Finance Management

• Distribute Withholding Tax (WHT) Slips to distributors and ensure proper documentation.
• OverseeTrading Term Utilization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with approved schemes.
• Support monitoring and reporting ofE-commerce spend and utilization.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with CCD, Sales, and Finance teams to ensure accuracy in trade spend, incentives, and OPEX.
• Coordinate with Accounting and Tax teams for compliance in WHT, accruals, and documentation.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to optimize processes, tools, and reporting dashboards.
• Ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) are updated and followed consistently.
• Support audit requests and ensure proper documentation and financial controls.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, Financial Controlling, or Finance Business Partnering roles, preferably within FMCG, Consumer Health, Pharmaceutical, or Consumer Goods industries.
• Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of trade spend management, distributor finance, accrual accounting, forecasting, and month-end closing processes.
• Experience in audit firms (Big 4) will be considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with financial governance, compliance requirements, and internal controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills across functions.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in Excel (lookup, pivot, formulas).
• Strong understanding of finance controls and governance.
