Lead Forward-Deployed Engineer (BI)

We're looking for aLead Forward-Deployed Engineer (BI) to join our team in broader Zurich area, Switzerland in a hybrid working mode. This role focuses on delivering AI-native business intelligence and visualization solutions for the client. You will shape innovative BI strategies through rapid prototyping, working closely with client stakeholders to deliver impactful reporting and analytics solutions that drive valuable insights for the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagement on complex reporting and insight challenges
• Define rapid AI-assisted BI prototypes
• Build and refine dashboards and natural-language-driven reporting solutions using iterative, client-focused feedback loops
• Assess technical feasibility and contribute to the design of next-generation AI-native BI approaches such as conversational analytics
• Transition validated prototypes into standard build workflows in collaboration with BI Engineers
• Act as the key escalation point for technical BI matters and ensure alignment with client expectations
• Manage client relationships as the senior technical liaison for BI and AI-related initiatives
• Contribute reusable BI and agentic solution patterns to the AI Solution Engineering practice

Requirements

• Overall experience of eight or more years, including four or more in BI and visualization engineering
• Experience of two or more years in forward-deployed or solution engineering roles
• Advanced BI and visualization development expertise, including dashboarding and semantic modeling
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Power BI
• Experience with AI-assisted or agentic development tools
• Proven client-facing technical leadership skills
• Familiarity with Anthropic Claude or Amazon Bedrock
• English proficiency at CEFR B2 level

Nice to have

• Knowledge of LangChain or other agent-orchestration frameworks
• Familiarity with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore
• Understanding of Snowflake or ClickHouse
• Experience with prompt engineering and conversational analytics tooling
• Exposure to SAP BusinessObjects
