Job Overview:

Seeking for a Privacy and Security Office (PSO) to lead and support privacy and security initiatives for Rural Health Transformation. Your role will involve ensuring alignment with PSO requirements and compliance with federal and state regulations. Responsibilities include governance support, contract reviews, risk mitigation, and protection of sensitive information. You'll also handle assessments, vendor management, incident response, compliance activities, and policy development. Collaborate with leadership, program teams, legal, IT, compliance, and external partners to maintain a strong culture of privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.

Must-Have Skills and Experience:

• 2+ years of experience with state/federal government health and human services organizations.
• 5+ years of direct experience supporting Medicaid, healthcare, public health, or human services programs.
• 1+ year of experience with RHTP Initiative 6 or similar large-scale healthcare transformation initiatives.
• 5+ years of experience implementing privacy and security by design within technology and business initiatives.
• 5+ years of familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST Privacy Framework, NIST SP 800-53, or similar security/privacy frameworks.
• 7+ years of experience performing risk assessments based on NIST 800-53 Rev 5.
• 5+ years of knowledge of Federal Requirements such as HIPAA Security Rule and Privacy Rule implementation.
• 7+ years of experience in reviewing RFP, RFQ, MOU, and MOA for privacy and security regulatory requirements for RHTP Initiative 6.
