Introduction

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer. This role is 100% onsite and requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in NC programming and aerospace manufacturing processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience programming three, four, and five axes mills.
• Proficiency in using NX programming software.
• Experience machining aluminum aerospace parts.
• Experience creating workholding fixtures and selecting cutting tools for machining aerospace components.
• Prior work experience in the aerospace industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in the aerospace industry.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Create NC programs for aerospace components using NX CAM.
• Plan and design manufacturing processes in an industrial plant.
• Maximize efficiency by analyzing equipment layout, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization.
• Determine parts and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications.
