In 2018, we began with a WhatsApp group with a simple hypothesis: people in tier-2/3 towns weren’t really using the internet meaningfully yet. We believed that if we started with local content in their own language, they’d come back every day; once there was a habit and trust, that same space could naturally grow into classifieds and, eventually, something they used for almost everything online.

Through 1:1 audio and video conversations, users can connect with trained Wellness Buddies who offer emotional support, companionship, and meaningful conversations.

As Eaze continues to grow, we are focused on building a strong network of high-quality Wellness Buddies who can deliver a positive and supportive experience to our users.

Role Overview :

As an Associate – Onboarding & Engagement, you will play a key role in building and managing Eaze's Wellness Buddy ecosystem. You will be responsible for the end-to-end onboarding journey—from sourcing and screening potential Wellness Buddies to facilitating training, ensuring operational readiness, and driving ongoing engagement. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help maintain a high-quality, active community of Wellness Buddies while ensuring seamless day-to-day platform operations and an exceptional experience for both Wellness Budies and users. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-centric environment and is passionate about community building, operations, and creating meaningful user experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

Wellness buddy Acquisition & Candidate Experience

• Manage inbound leads and guide potential Wellness Buddies through the application process.
• Schedule and conduct initial screening interviews to assess communication, empathy, and emotional maturity.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified Wellness Buddies aligned with platform requirements.
  

Training & Onboarding

• Support the execution of training programs for Wellness Buddies.
• Facilitate smooth onboarding by aligning candidates with community guidelines and platform expectations.
• Assist in improving training and onboarding processes based on feedback and performance data.
  

Talent Supply Management

• Identify and onboard Wellness Buddies for 1:1 audio/video sessions.
• Ensure an adequate supply of active Wellness Buddies to meet user demand and peak hours.
• Track basic supply metrics and highlight gaps proactively.
  

Operations & Performance Support

• Assist in managing day-to-day operations of 1:1 audio/video sessions.
• Monitor Wellness Buddy performance and share feedback for improvement.
• Support in resolving operational issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
  

Community Growth & Support

• Contribute to initiatives aimed at expanding the Wellness Buddy base across languages and markets.
• Support efforts to improve user engagement and overall platform experience.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of growth initiatives. 

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Community Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in community management, operations, or supply chain roles, with a focus on audio/video content or social platforms.
• Must be fluent inTamil  & English(Read, Write & Speak).
• Strong understanding of community dynamics in 1:1 calling environments, including experience managing hosts and content contributors.
• Proficiency in analytics tools, community management platforms, and audio/video calling technologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
