The Opportunity

Are you ready to shape and lead operational resilience at scale? As our Senior Manager, Operational Resilience, you will take full enterprise-wide ownership of building, embedding, and maturing Iress’ operational resilience framework, policies, and methodologies across all global business units and corporate functions.

Moving beyond traditional BCP, you will drive a modern, end-to-end operational lens mapping critical business services, setting impact tolerances, overseeing third-party dependencies, and leading response capabilities for severe disruption events.

What You'll Do

• Framework & Policy Leadership: Design and maintain a fit-for-purpose, enterprise-wide Operational Resilience program across all regions.
• Service & Dependency Mapping: Map critical end-to-end operational workflows, identifying key dependencies across technology, data, personnel, and vendors.
• Impact Tolerances & Governance: Establish Board-approved impact tolerances and embed resilience metrics into the Group Risk Appetite Statement (RAS).
• Testing & Scenario Simulations: Plan and execute rigorous simulation exercises based on plausible disruption scenarios (cyber attacks, vendor outages, system failures).
• Third-Party Resilience: Evaluate vendor recovery capabilities and mitigate concentration risks across critical third-party dependencies.
• Executive & Regulatory Assurance: Act as primary SME for Board/Executive committees (ERC, ARC) and external audit/regulatory reviews (e.g., APRA CPS 230, ASIC guidelines).
• Culture & Capability: Drive resilience awareness, standardising BIAs and BCPs across all business units.

What You'll Bring

• Deep SME Expertise: Extensive track record leading Operational Resilience, BCM, DR, and Crisis Management in complex SaaS, fintech, or financial services environments.
• Regulatory Mastery: Comprehensive knowledge of key financial regulatory standards (APRA CPS 230, ASIC, FCA/PRA).
• Matrix Leadership: Outstanding ability to influence executive leadership, tech leaders (CTO, CISO), and decentralized business units.
• Audit & Resilience Assurance: Proven success navigating internal/external audits and risk reviews.
• Qualifications: Relevant industry certifications (CBCP, MBCI, CRISC, CISM) highly regarded.
