JM Family Enterprises is seeking aPortfolio Managerwho will provide strategic oversight of portfolios while serving as a key partner in portfolio management, budgeting,forecasting and executive reporting. This roleis responsible for ensuring alignment between project investments, organizationalpriorities and financialobjectives.
They will be workingclosely with technologyleadership, finance teams, project managers and business stakeholders.Portfolio Manager drives portfoliogovernance, financial transparency, riskmanagement,and strategic decision-making process across a complextechnology portfolio.Â
Responsibilities: Â
Develop and deliver executive-level presentations to communicate portfolio status, financial performance, risks,strategy and recommendationsto business stakeholders. Â
Leadportfolio governance activitiestoensure projects,programs, and investments alignwith business and organizational priorities.Â
Oversee andfacilitate ongoing collaboration with project and portfolio managers for effective reporting and delivery.Â
Manage resource allocation, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication across multiple projects. Â
Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of portfolio and department financials including annual budget and monthly forecast processes.Â
Oversee vendor financialperformance, support invoice,contract andexpenditure review processes.Â
Define,monitor andreport Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate project success and overall portfolio health. Â
Recruit, onboard, and mentor project management talent to support organizational growth. Â
Establishand promote portfolio management best practices, governance standards, reportingframeworks and continuous improvement strategies.
Qualifications: Â
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Portfolio Management, Program Management, Project Management, ora related discipline.Â
Demonstrated experience managing portfolio financials, departmental budgets, annual planning cycles, forecastingactivities and financial reporting processes.
Strong understanding of financial concepts including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cost management, vendor expenditures, and Profit and Loss (P&L) reporting.Â
Strong conceptual knowledge and problem-solving abilities in project/portfolio management. Â
Proven experience leading complex initiatives independently. Â
Expertise in vendor management and cross-functionalcollaboration withincomplex organizationalenvironment.  Â
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Â
Strong coaching,consultingcapabilities withexperience managing escalatedissues and guiding teams through resolution. Â
Proficiency with project management tools and reporting dashboards (e.g., Microsoft Project, Power BI, etc.). Â
Experience with Service Now Portfolio and Project Management or similarportfolio management platforms.Â
Experience using Net Suite or similarfinancial management systems.
Professional certifications like PMP,PgMP, PMI_PBA, PMI-PMOCP orSAFe are preferred.
