Regional manager – Scientific and Medical Affairs Manager - Mumbai

JOB DESCRIPTION:

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE  

• Responsible for development & shaping of different therapy areas, product cycle management, need assessment for new product launch and positioning, team and talent development, data and concept generation, planning, and execution of medico- marketing activities, key opinion leader management and ensuring business compliance.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES  

Strategy

• Lead Medical Affairs activities in assigned territory
• Consolidate and communicate trends, market insights, and unmet needs identified in the field

Operations

• Positively impact external perceptions and knowledge regarding TA and product science
• Maintain and demonstrate comprehensive and in-depth scientific TA knowledge when executing assigned tactics
• Ensure operational excellence – medical initiatives
• Training to internal team – Onboarding, induction, refresher

Data generation & dissemination

• Provide Local input & coordinate in providing support for studies & publications
• Provide briefing to Speaker HCPs for Medical Education Program
• Represent company at Medical Education events, programs, meetings

Stakeholder engagement

• Develop and execute KOL engagement plans
• Identify and engage new KOLs
• Identify and interact with influential members of the Medical community (HCPs/KOLs) within assigned territory and TA

QUALIFICATIONS  

Minimum Education

MD - Pharmacology and MBBS

Education Level

Major/Field of Study

Medicine

Experience/Background  

• Minimum 2 years
