Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership & Architecture

  • Provide technical direction and architectural guidance across frontend, backend, and cloud solutions.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-quality applications.
  • Act as a technical reference point for modern web and cloud architectures, ensuring alignment with best practices and client standards.

  Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, coach, and mentor cross-functional software engineering teams (Frontend, Backend, Fullstack, DevOps).
  • Support career development through regular feedback, performance management, and skills growth plans.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and continuous-learning culture within the team.

  Delivery & Project Management

  • Own delivery outcomes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and at the expected quality level.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps.
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and priorities across multiple initiatives.

  Frontend, Backend & Cloud Oversight

  • Guide teams working with modern frontend frameworks (Angular, React, Vue) to deliver intuitive and responsive user experiences.
  • Oversee backend development using ASP.NET Core and secure, high-performance Web APIs.
  • Drive the design and adoption of cloud-native solutions onMicrosoft Azure, promoting scalability and cost efficiency.

  DevOps, Quality & Engineering Practices

  • Champion CI/CD best practices and oversee implementation using Azure DevOps, Terraform, Kubernetes, and YAML-based pipelines.
  • Promote a strong engineering culture focused on quality, including unit testing, code reviews, pair programming, and automation.
  • Encourage the effective use of modern productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve developer efficiency and code quality.

  Data & Integration

  • Ensure effective use of SQL and NoSQL databases for reliable data storage, retrieval, and performance.
  • Oversee integration patterns and data flows between systems and services.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in software engineering leadership or technical team management.
• Strong background in frontend technologies (Angular, React, Vue) and backend development using .NET / ASP.NET Core.
• Experience designing, implementing, and governing cloud architectures onMicrosoft Azure.
• Solid understanding ofCI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and modern deployment strategies.
• Knowledge ofSQL and NoSQL databases and data-driven application design.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A strong belief inengineering excellence, continuous improvement, andpeople development.
• Language requirements:
  • Fluent in English (must-have)
  • Fluent in Dutch (must-have)

Salary & Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

• Salary range: €62,640 – €114,840 (gross per year)
• Mobility options: choice between a lease car or a mobility budget
