DevOps Engineer - Kubernetes Platform

Your role

We are continuing to strengthen our platform engineering capabilities and are now looking forDevOps Engineers who want to play a key role in developing and modernising our Kubernetes platform services. This is an opportunity to work hands-on with modern platform technologies while contributing to the evolution of a critical service that enables application delivery across the organization. You will be part of a team responsible for both development and operations, driving automation, reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement of our Kubernetes environments.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of the team responsible for our Kubernetes platform services. The platforms are widely used across the organisation and are a key enabler for modern application development and deployment.

You will work with both the existing platform and the development of future platform capabilities. The role combines infrastructure engineering, platform development, automation, and operational responsibility with opportunities to influence technical direction and future platform architecture.

Working closely with architects, developers, security specialists, and operations teams, you will help ensure that our platform services remain robust, secure, scalable, and easy to consume for our internal customers. As part of the operational responsibility for the platform, you will participate in an on-call rotation together with the team.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, build, maintain and evolve Kubernetes-based platform services
• Work across development and operations to automate, operate and continuously improve our platform services
• Contribute to platform engineering practices and self-service capabilities
• Support and enable development teams using the platform
• Contribute to the migration and evolving of existing platform services
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to translate technical requirements into practical solutions

What we are looking for:

• Strong experience with Kubernetes and container-based platforms
• Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience working in Linux-based environments
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
• Experience operating and supporting business-critical services
• Understanding of cloud-native technologies and platform engineering principles
• Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English
• Relevant education or equivalent work experience

It’s a bonus if you also have:

• Experience working in hybrid Kubernetes environments
• Experience with platform engineering and internal developer platforms
• Knowledge of container security and compliance requirements
• Experience from large or complex organisations

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
