Senior Python Web Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Web Developerto join our team and contribute to the design, development, and optimization of robust web applications. In this role, you will leverage your deep technical expertise to build scalable solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive best practices across the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design backend architectures for Python web services
• Build FastAPI endpoints with clear contracts and validation
• Implement business logic with maintainable Python code
• Integrate backend services with JavaScript-based clients
• Write SQL queries and optimize data access patterns
• Ensure security, reliability, and performance across services
• Test APIs and critical logic to prevent regressions
• Review code and suggest improvements to quality and consistency
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Python web development
• Hands-on experience building APIs with FastAPI
• Knowledge of JavaScript for integrating with web front ends
• Strong SQL skills for querying and working with relational data
• Proven ownership and delivery skills for end-to-end features
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+ level)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with TypeScript, ReactJS, and Next.js
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Databricks
• Background in observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog
• Skills in end-to-end testing with Playwright and component development using Storybook
• Experience integrating with Anthropic Claude or similar AI/LLM platforms
