Lead SAP CAP Java Developer

We're looking for aLead SAP CAP Java Developer to join our team in Poland in a hybrid or remote working mode. In this role, you will drive the development of high-quality enterprise solutions leveraging SAP CAP and Java to meet client needs and industry standards. You will play a key part in ensuring timely delivery of features, addressing complex technical challenges, and contributing to architecture and design decisions that enable scalable and maintainable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time delivery of application features while meeting functional specifications and quality standards
• Develop backend components using Java, REST/CXF, MVC frameworks such as Spring Boot, SAP CAP programming model, and SQL
• Contribute to requirements analysis, design documentation, and perform design and code reviews
• Implement automated unit tests to achieve full code coverage
• Design and execute automated functional tests covering positive and negative scenarios
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects and customer issues within defined SLAs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine technical solutions and improve processes
• Requirements
• Proven experience in backend development with Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot
• Solid understanding of SAP CAP programming model
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and MVC frameworks
• Hands-on experience with SQL and relational database concepts
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and version control systems such as GitHub
• Experience with testing frameworks and tools including JUnit, Karate, Selenium, and Postman
• Knowledge of agile development practices and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence
