We are seeking compassionate, patient-focusedCare Partners (Nursing Assistants) to provide hands-on patient care and support clinical procedures, including blood draws, Foley catheter care, specimen collection, and other bedside responsibilities.

Schedule

PRN Night Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

• PRN staff are required to work a minimum of four 12-hour shifts every six weeks; however, candidates may be required to commit to a full-time orientation period (two/three 12-hour shifts per week) for the first 4 weeks of employment.
• All employees, including Night Shift and PRN staff, must attend daytime orientation during their first week

Qualifications

Required

High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent experience)and one of the following:

• Current enrollment in an RN program with successful completion of the first semester and nursing fundamentals clinical
• Graduation from a Nursing Assistant/Aide Training Program within the past year (certificate required)
• At least 1 year of recent experience (within the last 2 years) as a Care Partner, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician

Preferred

• Previous hospital experience
• Flexible availability
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Professional, reliable, and patient-centered approach

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with the delivery of patient care and maintenance of unit environmental standards under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assists with day to day delivery of patient care.
• Facilitates efficient and safe patient care and flow by following work area standards.
• Serves as a liaison for communication and education of patient and family needs.
• Supports unit operations and patient flow by maintaining supplies, equipment and unit environmental standards.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES
• Environment of Care (Fundamental Awareness): Has limited experience or training working with set up and maintenance of patient exam rooms, supplies and equipment.
• Care Partner Patient Documentation (Fundamental Awareness): Has limited experience or training working with clinical applications for patient documentation.
• Clinical Competencies (Novice): Demonstrates sufficient fundamental proficiency to assist and perform clinical care including but not limited to vital signs, phlebotomy, specimen collection, medication administration and point of care testing as directed by unit standards.
• Planning & Organizing (Fundamental Awareness): Demonstrates ability to anticipate basic resource needs, identify discrete tasks, set priorities, define dependencies, schedule activities, meet deadlines, and organize work for own assignments and responsibilities. Appropriately matches equipment, and capital resources to task demands. Prepares and presents clear and accurate status reports on projects and assignments.
