About this Opportunity:

As a Senior Director, FP&A (Wealth), you will be a finance partner to the President of Wealth Management and the Wealth leadership team. You anticipate the business problem before it is asked. You bring a point of view, not just a report, and turn ambiguous, high-stakes questions into clear financial direction. Working within the broader FP&A and CFO organization, you own the analysis behind Wealth performance, forecasting, deal economics, and executive reporting, and you are the senior dedicated finance partner for the Wealth business line. Success looks like a Wealth leadership team that treats Finance as a trusted partner on growth, retention, pricing, and incentive economics, not a scorekeeper. As we continue to evolve and live our Orion values, we are looking for someone to grow with us.

In this role, you'll get to:

  • Serve as the finance partner to the President of Wealth Management, surfacing risks, opportunities, and solutions ahead of the business

  • Turn open, ambiguous questions into clear analysis and a recommendation the business can act on

  • Help shape the financial direction of Wealth by spotting emerging trends in net flows, retention, product mix, and rate, and framing what they mean for leadership

  • Own the financial understanding of Wealth sales compensation: forecast comp expense, interpret incentive economics for Wealth leadership, and advise on plan design and changes through a financial lens, without owning day-to-day comp administration

  • Speak fluently to how compensation structures align to net flows, revenue recognition, and margin in conversations with the Wealth President

  • Partner with the Sales Comp Lead and Compensation Operations so the comp story the business hears from Finance is consistent, defensible, and tied to the numbers

  • Lead the financial evaluation of strategic deals, partnership restructures, and retention plays, including discount and fee-waiver economics and net-flow arrangements

  • Define the methodology and guardrails for evaluating non-standard pricing and contract terms, and partner with Sales, Legal, and Accounting to flag business terms that erode revenue before they are committed

  • Quantify in-year and run-rate impact of pricing and contractual changes, and track outcomes against the original business case

  • Own the Wealth forecasting cadence and long-range model, bringing together AUM, net flows, rate, and product-mix drivers into a coherent, defensible view

  • Define the analytical approach and standards behind budgeting, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning, reconciled to reporting and BI sources

  • Lead the monthly business review of Wealth results, sharing insight on drivers and variances rather than restating numbers

  • Own the integrity and narrative of Wealth financials for board packets, executive dashboards, town halls, and investor-facing materials

  • Keep a single, trusted version of Wealth performance data by reconciling reporting, dashboards, and BI, and resolving discrepancies before they reach executives

  • Lead and develop a small, focused FP&A team, including onshore and offshore analysts, delegating recurring production so senior time goes to analysis and partnership

  • Set standards, coach for judgment and business acumen, and build succession depth on the Wealth finance bench

  • Lead by example, reinforce Orion's values, and build an inclusive, high-trust team

We're looking for talent who:

  • Has a minimum of 10+ years of corporate or FP&A experience, with experience partnering directly with senior business leaders

  • Has a track record as a proactive business partner on complex, ambiguous problems, not solely a reporting or planning function

  • Has strong command of deal, pricing, revenue, and incentive economics in a subscription, asset-based, or financial-services model

  • Has experience in wealth management or wealth services, with a solid grasp of asset flows (inflows, outflows, and net flows) and how they drive revenue; this understanding is important to success in the role

  • Is highly proficient in Excel, able to build detailed financial models from scratch and maintain complex KPI trackers

  • Has a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field required; MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred

  • Preferably has experience at a high-growth, PE-backed, or FinTech company

  • Preferably has familiarity with the practical application of AI in finance (for example, automating analysis, forecasting, and reporting workflows)

  • Preferably has hands-on experience with Workday and Adaptive Planning

  • Preferably has experience with BI platforms such as Power BI and data analytics tools
