Our ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) team enables and supports the transformation journey to mature Enterprise Service Management through the adoption of Policy & Compliance and Enterprise Risk Management capabilities. We are focused on building scalable, business-aligned risk and compliance solutions that enhance governance, strengthen control effectiveness, and enable operational excellence in support of Enterprise Cloud Migration and AI adoption.

RoleSummary/Purpose:

TheAVP,ServiceNowIntegratedRiskManagementLeaderhasthetechnical,developmentandarchitecturalaccountabilityofIntegratedRiskManagement(IRM)withinSynchrony’sServiceNowplatform.TheleaderwillguidetheIntegratedRiskManagementServiceNowimplementationandongoingenhancements. ThisrolewillfocusonIRMand,asbandwidthallows,willexpandtoadditionalServiceNowmodules(ITSM,ITAM,ITOM).Thecandidatewillworkwithateamofemployeesandcontractorsresponsibleforexecutingthetechnologydevelopmentroadmapanddrivingcontinualserviceimprovements.The candidatewillreportintotheVP,ServiceAssets& Configuration ManagementLeader(SACM).Thispositionrequiresanindividualthatdemonstratesleadership,businessstrategy,decision-making,andmanagementskills.Thispositionisremote,whereyouhavetheoptiontoworkfromhome.Onoccasionwemayrequestforyoutocommutetoournearestofficeforinpersonengagementactivitiessuchasteammeetings,trainingandcultureevents.Toensurethesafetyofourcolleaguesandcommunities,werequireemployeeswhocometogetherin-persontobefullyvaccinated.We’reproudtoofferyouchoiceandflexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• ActastheTechnologyProductOwnerfortheServiceNowIntegratedRiskManagementsolutionsuite
• ProvidesubjectmatterexpertiseinIRMandotherServiceNowfunctionality
• LeadServiceNowIRMimplementation&overseearchitectural design
• Facilitateproject introduction, working sessions & status meetings,while creating and managing projecttimeline
• Document and maintain functional business requirements, process flows and business use cases
• Lead discussions and workshops to create a risk-aware culture through proper technology enablement of risk-related processes
• Configure and implement IRM related business processes into ServiceNow including Policy and Compliance Management, Audit, Advanced Risk and other Risk Management processes
• Collaboratewiththeengagementteamtocoordinate,plananddeliverServiceNow IRM
• Enable and automate risk management processes (i.e., risk assessments, risk mitigation strategies, and risk register, etc.)
• Designanddevelopenhancementsandhelpfixissuesordefectswhichariseintheproductionenvironment
• LeveragetheIRMsuitetoitsfullvalue
• Design/DevelopadditionalServiceNowModules(ITSM,ITAM,ITOM)withaconcentrationonConfigurationManagement
• Design and architect solutions to automatedprocesses
• Providefinalqualityassurancereviewsofalldeliverables
• Designanddeliverendusertraining
• Identifysystemorprocessdeficienciesandrecommendsolutionsforcontinualservice improvements
• Produceaccuratereportingforseniormanagement;Takeactiontocorrectdataorprocessensuring RiskMetricsremain incontrol

• Participateininquiries,examsandsurveillanceverifyingtheprocesses,controls,anddataquality
• Remain current on new developments in GRC technology implementation services capabilities and industry knowledge

Agile:

• Participate in all aspects of the ServiceNow program and solution delivery utilizing SCRUM (Agile)
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Scrum of Scrums, Backlog grooming, and Daily Stand Ups
• Write Agilestories(in Jira) providing requirements to thedevelopment teamforcoding;keepAgile stories up to date daily
• Code/developsolutionsorgiveguidancetothedeveloper
• Participate in Functional and User Acceptance Testing; coordinate testing of stakeholders and cross-process impacting teams
• Research ServiceNow solutions to benefit the ServiceNow implementation; stay current on newreleases and available functionality of ServiceNow
• Participateinsystemupgrades

Required Skills/ Knowledge:

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years working with Service Management tools in a technicalcapacity, or in lieu of a degree minimum of 8 years working with Service Management tools in atechnical capacity
• Minimumof6yearshandsonexperienceworkingwithServiceNowConfigurationManagement
• CertifiedServiceNowSystemAdministratorand Certified Application Developer with minimum 1 year ofexperience
• Hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow IRM and use cases including Policy and Compliance, Vulnerability Management, Audit, Risk and Vendor Risk Management
• Experienceinthedesign,configuration,andimplementationofServiceNowIRMsolutions
• Strongunderstandingofcomplianceandriskmanagementprocesses
• Experience working with ServiceNow Zurich, Yokohama, Xanadu, Australia version
• ExperienceworkinginAgile/Iterativedevelopment
• ITILV3/ V4Foundationscertificationrequired
• CIS:RiskandCompliance

Eligibility Criteria:

Work Timings:
This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between Hoursof engagement2:00PM ISTto11:00PM IST (Flexible/ preferably4:30 PMIST to1:30 AMIST). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs). This role requires you to be at the Hyderabad location.
