Orangetheory Fitness is a trendsetting franchise fitness organization with 1500+ locations open world-wide!
The General Manager is in charge of running all "front of house” fitness studio operations including driving sales, training and managing multiple units.
Ideal applicants must be able to participate in 2 HIIT (high intensity interval training) sessions a week, be charismatic, outgoing, good with numbers, career driven, and, able to follow a proven success plan for career advancement.
Must have Management Experience and Sales quota experience
Essential Job Functions
Manage multiple locations
Lead staff and drive sales performance.Properly managing and exceeding all OTF sales and operational budgetsLead and coordinate initial and ongoing sales drivers (pre-sale events, studio events, outreach); promote on social mediaPlanning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems following corporate standards.Build and maintain OTF class size through scheduling optimizationAssist in developing a high energy culture through contests and incentive based motivationModel all studio activities through self-involvement (leading by example)Train and mentor subordinates for ongoing success and future growthEnsure OTF branding through consistency of policy and proceduresProperly empower, monitor and evaluate specifically assigned responsibilities of sales teamResponsible for meeting performance metrics ( KPI's),and revenueConduct sales staff meetings and attend all required webinars and corporate meetings.Manage client and staff concerns as well as the daily operations of a fast- paced fitness studioProvide and maintain the highest level of customer serviceCompliance and adherence to OTF Business Policies for daily studio operations
Qualifications
Proven sales leadership REQUIRED!Management Experience REQUIRED!
MUST have experience managing multiple locationsMust possess excellent leadership and management skills to create a positive, successful environment for staff and clientsPrevious management experience in the health & fitness industry strongly recommendedStrong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanorMust possess excellent leadership and management skills to create a positive, successful environment for staff and clientsSolid verbal and written communication skills requiredAbility to multi-task and manage client and staff concernsAbility to work and function in a TEAM environmentFlexible to work opening shift, evening/closing shift and weekend hoursStrong computer skills required with knowledge of MS office programs (Excel, Word)Associate or Bachelor's degree in business or related field with 3+ years of management experience preferred
