Procurement Advisor

Our client URGENTLY requires a Procurement Advisor for 12 months + Contract in Gold Coast.

The Procurement Advisor will work as part of a regional team to develop and implement innovative procurement strategies and activities and provide procurement advice.

Skills and Experience required include:

• To co-ordinate and monitor the provision of timely, accurate and relevant procurement advice and information on alignment with departmental procurement business and governance framework.
• End to end procurement activity implementation including procurement planning and documentation, evaluation and supplier negotiation, contract documentation, contract management and use of supply arrangements.
• Lead and coach support staff, ensuring appropriate skill sets and training needs are identified and developed.
• Ensure operational practices and standards of service and performance comply with departmental and regional policies, legislation (incl. WH&S), and governance obligations.

Government experience would be highly advantageous.
