Job Title: Class A Mechanic        Â
Pay Rate: $35.24-$37.29 based on experience

Job Summary:
The Class A Mechanic is responsible for working alongside the Fleet Supervisor in driving the company’s Fleet Success.Ensuring productive, organized, and safe work environments as well as QualityEquipment Preparedness.The Class A Mechanic is involved with all activities related topreventative maintenance and vehicle repair of gas and diesel equipment.This rolefrequently coordinates with other departments.

KeyResponsibilities:
- Providetimely and quality repairs to equipmentand own safe work practices and quality compliance.   
- Routinely check work area and surrounding areas including the Fleet Shop, and Yard for Safety Hazards, Organization and Cleanliness.  
- Follow procedures and ensure all incidents are promptly reported and investigated. If an employee is not following the proper procedure – notify Department Leaders.Â
- Perform Vehicle Maintenance to include but not limited to, Inspecting and Repairing Equipment with Gasoline and Diesel Engines. Perform preventative maintenance, Troubleshooting and Diagnostic work, and completing service work orders as scheduled.Â
- Monitor inventory of parts,tools and report to Department Leaders when reorder isrequired.   Â
- Perform DVIR’s as directed by the Department Manager.
- Perform work on all Equipment as directed by Department Leaders, under the scope of qualifications and training. Â
- On Occasion, may be assigned tooperate allequipment.  Â
- Coordinate with other departments andprovideteam memberswith Fleet SpecificInsight. Â
- All Other Duties as Assigned

Required/Preferred Skills and Abilities: 
- CDL ADriver's LicenseÂ
- DOT Medical CardÂ
- Ability to Switch Tasks Quickly Â
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.    
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.     
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience:
- 3+ Years of experience in a Mechanic CDL Role, Preferred.
- PA State Inspections License (Class 7),Preferred Â
- AC - (EPA 609) Certified, PreferredÂ
- WeldingExperience, Preferred  Â
- OSHA-10 Certification PreferredÂ
- Auto Tech Experience preferred.  
- Machine Operating Experience, a plus

Physical Requirements: 
- Ability to Perform allFleet Maintenance WorkÂ
- Must be able to drive a manual CMVÂ
- Often required to sit, stand, walk, bend knees, and stretch arm
- Must be able tolift up to 50 pounds at times.
