Associate Lecturer - Company and Finance Law (HE7)

In this course you will develop a broad and coherent theoretical and technical knowledge of the legal principles relating to corporations and corporate finance. In this course you will examine the key legal obligations and implications over the lifecycle of a company in Australia - from registering a company, the operation of a company (including corporate governance and corporate finance) through to the winding up of a company and de-registration (including corporate insolvency).

Job Requirements

• A Ph.D, Master's Degree, or relevant postgraduate qualification in related discipline from a reputable university.
• At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level is preferred
• 5 years of relevant work experience will be an added advantage
• Must be available to conduct a weekly 3-hour lecture for a period of 9 weeks
• Must be available to teach classes during the day between 8.30AM and 6.30PM, and/or on weekday evenings from 7PM to 9PM

Candidates must be able to handle a sizeable class, manage assessment marking and provide constructive feedback to students within a given timeline. Associates will work closely under the guidance of the course coordinator based in the partner university.
