What You'll Do

As a Monitoring Surveyor Assistant, you will:

• Assist Monitoring Surveyors with collecting data from building, surface, ground, and utility monitoring points
• Help ensure monitoring data is collected accurately and according to project requirements
• Transport, clean, maintain, and organize survey equipment
• Perform basic equipment inspections and assist with equipment setup and calibration
• Report damaged or missing monitoring points, benchmarks, or equipment
• Follow all health and safety procedures while working on active construction sites
• Work closely with the monitoring team to complete daily assignments efficiently

What We're Looking For

• 0 to 2 years of experience in construction surveying, monitoring, or a related field is an asset but not required
• Basic knowledge of surveying equipment or construction practices is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Able to lift and carry survey equipment throughout the workday
• Available to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends when required

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Able to work on active construction sites while following all safety procedures
• Successful candidates may be required to complete and pass a criminal background check before starting employment
