Mobile Test Automation Engineer - iOS & Android

We're seeking aMobile Test Automation Engineer with solid technical expertise and practical experience in Appium-based automation testing for both iOS and Android platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated mobile test suites for iOS and Android using Appium
• Build and maintain reliable, reusable, and maintainable mobile automation solutions
• Execute automated tests either on real devices, emulators/simulators, or cloud-based device farms
• Analyze automation failures, investigate flaky tests, and identify root causes
• Maintain and improve the automation framework, test utilities, and supporting components
• Report defects identified through automated testing and collaborate with developers and manual testers to improve test coverage and application testability

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in mobile software test automation
• Strong hands-on experience with Appium for both iOS and Android in one of the following programming languages: JS, Java, or C#/.NET
• Proven experience designing and maintaining mobile automated test suites
• Solid understanding of iOS and Android automation concepts
• Experience running automated tests either on real devices, on Android Emulator/iOS Simulator, or on cloud-based mobile device farms
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based mobile device farms, such as BrowserStack, for executing Appium test suites across multiple real devices and OS versions
• Experience with backend API integration in mobile testing across different test levels, leveraging mocking and stubbing
• Experience integrating mobile automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing
• Experience analyzing test results, application/device logs, crash reports, and automation failures
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Nice to have

• Experience with native iOS and Android test automation and familiarity writing tests in Xcode and Android Studio
• Experience with SQL for test data validation and troubleshooting
• Experience with parallel execution across multiple devices and OS versions
