Mobile Developer

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in native Android development using Kotlin or Java, with production applications successfully shipped and maintained.
• Strong experience with SIP client development and maintenance.
• Good understanding of SIP signaling and RTP/SRTP media.
• Ability to analyze packet captures and troubleshoot SIP and media-related issues.
• Strong knowledge of the Android audio subsystem, including AudioManager, audio focus, and audio routing.
• Good understanding of audio routing between speaker, handset, and Bluetooth devices.
• Experience troubleshooting issues such as one-way audio.
• Strong Android Enterprise experience in managed device environments.
• Experience with Device Owner, Dedicated/COSU modes, managed configurations, and MDM-deployed applications.
• Strong understanding of Bluetooth accessories, including HFP/HSP, HID, pairing lifecycle, and headset disconnection scenarios.
• Good networking knowledge, including Wi-Fi roaming, jitter, packet loss, and their impact on voice communication.
• React Native and Flutter experience alone is not sufficient; strong native Android platform-level experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin or Java.
• Develop and maintain SIP-based communication functionality, including signaling and RTP/SRTP media.
• Troubleshoot SIP, media, audio, and connectivity issues using packet captures and appropriate diagnostic tools.
• Implement and manage Android audio functionality, including audio focus and routing across speaker, handset, and Bluetooth devices.
• Develop solutions for Android Enterprise managed fleets, including Device Owner and Dedicated/COSU environments.
• Integrate and manage Bluetooth accessories and troubleshoot pairing and mid-call connectivity issues.
• Analyze and resolve issues related to Wi-Fi roaming, jitter, packet loss, and voice quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and high-quality mobile communication solutions.
