Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-orientedMobile Apps Tester to ensure the quality, performance, usability, and reliability of mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate should have experience in manual and/or automation testing, test planning, defect tracking, and mobile application validation.

Key Responsibilities

• Test mobile applications on Android and iOS devices.
• Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and compatibility testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
• Validate UI/UX consistency across different mobile devices and screen sizes.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Verify app performance, responsiveness, and stability.
• Perform smoke and sanity testing before production releases.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production validation activities.

Required Skills

• Experience testing Android and iOS mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
• Knowledge of mobile testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with API testing and backend validation.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Automation testing experience using:
  • Appium
  • Selenium
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
• Experience testing mobile apps integrated with REST APIs.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools.
