Overview: We are seeking an experienced Migration Coordinator to manage and coordinate the Housing Fabric Build project across multiple housing buildings. The role involves developing and tracking project plans, managing schedules and dependencies, monitoring build activities and readiness milestones, and coordinating with engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders. The coordinator will ensure that housing buildings are ready for migration ahead of the Discovery Pods' timelines and facilitate the smooth handoff of completed builds into the standard Discovery Pod/Migration Pod pipeline. The ideal candidate will have strong technical project management skills, an understanding of network engineering concepts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to independently drive progress while clearly communicating technical risks and project impacts to business leadership.
Skills:
- Strong project/program management skills, especially in tech settings, preferable with experience working closely with engineers or other highly technical resources.
- Able to convert complex technical objectives and requirements into actionable plans aligned with program timelines.
- Skilled at overseeing workstreams that involve multiple teams and high degrees of cross-functional coordination.
- Understanding of network engineering concepts or quick learner with familiarity in broader IT concepts; comfortable dedicating time to self-study and close knowledge gaps when needed.
- Proficient at making difficult technical topics understandable for business leadership, clearly articulating how technology risks or decisions impact project outcomes (timelines, budget, scope)
- Works independently, drives progress without requiring heavy oversight.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates the Housing Fabric Build project plan and schedule across housing buildings.
- Tracks build activities, dependencies, and readiness milestones so fabric build stays ahead of the Discovery Pods' migration timeline for the same buildings.
- Coordinates the handoff of build-complete housing buildings into the standard Discovery Pod/Migration Pod pipeline.
