Mid-Level Drupal Developer

Job Summary:

Develops Drupal features, modules, and site enhancements in support of enterprise web applications, working under senior developer direction.

Key Responsibilities

·       Build and configure content types, views, blocks, and site structures.

·       Develop and maintain contributed and custom modules; apply theming updates.

·       Apply security patches and perform routine site maintenance.

·       Remediate accessibility defects and support content migration activities.

Minimum Qualifications

·       Minimum Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Two (2) years of specialized experience may substitute for one (1) year of the academic requirement.

·       Minimum Experience:Three (3) to five (5) years of Drupal development experience.

·       Certifications — Obtainable After Hire:Acquia Certified Site Builder - Drupal, within 90 days of assignment.

·       Certifications — Preferred:Acquia Certified Developer; Acquia Certified Front End Specialist.

·       Required Skills:PHP; Drupal site building; theming fundamentals; module configuration; Git; Agile delivery.

·       Preferred Skills:Drupal migration experience; WCAG 2.1 remediation; Composer and Drush proficiency.

Technical Environment

Drupal 9/10; PHP 8.x; Twig; Composer and Drush; Views and contributed modules; MySQL and MariaDB; Git; Acquia Cloud or Pantheon environments; axe and WAVE accessibility tooling.
