Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer / Power BI Developer

Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including:
• Lakehouse
• Warehouse
• OneLake
• Data Pipelines
• Dataflows
• Notebooks
• Semantic Models
• Power BI
• Experience in designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines, data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration workflows.
• Strong expertise in Power BI development, dashboarding, reporting, and semantic model creation.
• Experience with data warehousing, dimensional modeling, medallion architecture, and reporting-ready datasets.
• Strong SQL skills, including query optimization, performance tuning, and complex data analysis.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data models, pipelines, and analytical solutions.
• Experience with source-to-target mapping, data validation, testing, production support, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of Azure Data Services, including:
• Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Azure Data Lake
• Azure Synapse Analytics
• Databricks
• Experience in designing scalable analytics and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and requirement-gathering skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of SAP data structures, SAP business processes, and enterprise reporting environments.
• Experience with SAP HANA Modeling, SAP BusinessObjects, or Tableau.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and DevOps practices.
• Experience in data quality management and data governance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Global Capability Centers (GCCs) or captive center environments.
• Ability to work in cross-functional and globally distributed teams.
• Experience in user training, documentation, and business engagement activities.
