Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experiencedDynamics 365 F&O Technical Consultant to join our enterprise applications team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and integrating robust ERP solutions tailored to our business needs. You will work closely with Functional Consultants, Solution Architects, and business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable, extension-based technical designs using X++ and the Azure ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
1. Core Development & Customization
  • Design and develop technical solutions usingX++,Visual Studio, and .NET frameworks within D365 F&O.
  • Create and modify forms, tables, classes, views, and queries adhering toextension-based development best practices (strictly avoiding over-layering).
  • Implement custom workflows, batch jobs, and Business Events to automate business processes.
  • Author comprehensive Technical Design Documents (TDD) and conduct rigorous code reviews to ensure performance, security, and maintainivity.
2. Integration & Data Management
  • Architect and develop inbound/outbound integrations usingOData web services, REST/SOAP APIs, and Custom Services.
  • Utilize theData Management Framework (DMF) and Data Entities for high-volume data migrations and synchronizations.
  • Configure and maintain cloud integration architectures includingDual-write,Bring Your Own Database (BYOD), andAzure Data Lake / Synapse.
  • Work with Azure Integration Services such as Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Azure Functions.
3. Reporting & Analytics
  • Design, develop, and deploy complexSSRS reports and Electronic Reporting (ER) configurations.
  • Develop data models for Power BI embedded analytics and enterprise reporting dashboards.
4. Environment & Lifecycle Management
  • Manage application environments, deployments, and hotfixes usingMicrosoft Lifecycle Services (LCS).
  • UtilizeAzure DevOps for source control, branching strategies, automated builds, and CI/CD release pipelines.
  • Proactively troubleshoot, debug, and optimize system performance (X++ code tracing, SQL indexing, and database tuning).
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on technical development experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O (and/or Dynamics AX 2012).
    • Proven track record of participating in at least 1–2 full lifecycle end-to-end ERP implementations.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Deep understanding ofD365 F&O Architecture, Data Models, and Security Frameworks (Extensible Data Security, RBAC).
    • Proficiency in X++, C#, .NET, and SQL Server.
    • Strong familiarity withSysOperation Framework and Number Sequences.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical business users.
