Microservices Technical Lead – Java / Spring Boot / AWS / MongoDB

Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Microservices Technical Lead – Java / Spring Boot / AWS / MongoDB for their Dallas, TX/Hybrid location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Lead technical design and development of microservices (Spring Microservices 3.x) within a large-scale platform modernization effort.
• Serve as the central technical liaison across infrastructure, cloud, NoSQL, and database teams.
• Provide hands-on guidance to development teams, resolve technical blockers, and ensure high quality delivery.
• Oversee scrum teams, manage technical workstreams, and maintain alignment with broader platform architecture.
• Troubleshoot issues related to AWS services (ECS, EC2), connectivity, firewalls/VMs, CICD pipelines, and related components.
• Communicate complex technical issues clearly to cross-functional partners and leadership.

• Senior-level expertise in AWS cloud services and Microservice architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Microservices (3.x).
• Proven success leading microservice initiatives in large enterprise environments.
• Ability to operate as both an architect-level thinker and a hands-on technical lead.
• Experience collaborating with infrastructure, NoSQL, and MongoDB teams.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
