Metrology Admin Buyer

FieldBridge Energy seeks a Minden, NV based Metrology Admin Buyer to work for a global energy technology company. We offer weekly pay and benefits.

Pay / Schedule:
$24.00 - $27.00/hr. Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 2:30pm (some flexibility). 100% Onsite. At $27/hr and 40 hours a week for example,earn weekly paychecks of $1,080 gross.

The Metrology Admin Buyer supports the calibration laboratory by handling purchasing for calibration services, standards, tooling, and consumables. This role keeps lab operations running smoothly by tracking orders, working with vendors, and maintaining accurate department records.
 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Create and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders for metrology equipment calibrations, calibration standards, tooling, consumables, and services
• Obtain and compare vendor quotes, and negotiate pricing when appropriate
• Track open orders and expedite deliveries to keep laboratory operations running without interruption
• Maintain department records, files, and documentation in line with company procedures and quality standards
• Partner with equipment owners to manage equipment status, and assist with drafting formal technical customer reports

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of relevant experience
• Valid driver's license
• Familiarity with electrical calibration equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, process calibrators) preferred
• Familiarity with dimensional measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, gauge blocks, CMMs) preferred
• Knowledge of quality management systems, calibration traceability, and asset management/calibration software preferred
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
