About The Job:
- The role is responsible for supporting steady-state operations for Microsoft 365 services, ensuring reliable day-to-day administration, monitoring, and support across supported workloads such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 Apps, and related services.
- Responsibilities include handling incidents and service requests, performing standard administrative changes, monitoring service health, validating user-impacting issues, supporting access and configuration requirements, maintaining operational documentation, and coordinating with internal teams or Microsoft support for escalations.
- The resource will work within defined ITSM processes, follow agreed service levels, support continuous service improvement activities, and help maintain service stability, compliance, and operational readiness across the Microsoft 365 environment.
- The M365 Administrator will be responsible for the overall administration, support, and maintenance of the Microsoft 365 environment.
- This role requires a deep understanding of M365 services, including Exchange Online, Exchange On-Premises & Hybrid servers, Microsoft Purview, Defender for O365 and MS-Teams.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capability to manage and optimize the use of M365 solutions to meet business needs.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to end users.
- Understanding their requirements and creating a positive client experience throughout the total client journey.

- Anticipates operational, program, and implementation issues and develops preventative measures.
- Provides advanced technical support within area of expertise to clients on complex integration issues and is often in a lead role within major projects.
- Apply advanced training and experience to resolve difficult client problems where standard practice has failed.
- Identifies, structures, and delivers services that enable business processes.
- Performs root cause analysis on failed components and implements corrective measures.
- Providing guidance and mentoring junior team members.

- Possess the ability to work independently with minimal management supervision and with a global team of engineers.

Technical Skills
- Provide maintenance, support and troubleshooting activities on server-side configurations and integration in support of high-availability, server roles, Exchange online, Hybrid environment, mail-flow/transport services, Client access/webmail, security & compliance and email protection.
- Health checks, server capacity management and proactive configuration management support of SharePoint services.
- In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture, site collection administration, permissions models, and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, processes, and service levels.
- Manage site collection administration, permissions, content types, lists, libraries, workflows, and templates.
- Configure advanced features such as hub sites, managed metadata, search optimization, and retention policies.
- Administration and Support: Manage and maintain the Microsoft 365 services, providing day-to-day support and administration of M365 services.
- Implementation and Configuration: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot M365 services, including Exchange Online, Exchang.
