Job Description:

The Merchant Field Sales Manager leads the field sales team responsible for acquiring, developing, and retaining large and strategic merchants within the Pluxee network. The role manages Hunters, Farmers, and Funters across both Large and Strategic Account segments, ensuring comprehensive commercial coverage, performance discipline, and strong ecosystem contribution. Operating in a B2B2C context, the Field Sales Manager is responsible for building and maintaining a robust acceptance network that enhances consumer benefit usage, supports national growth objectives, and reflects Pluxee’s digital-first, employee-centric strategy.YOUR NEXT CHALLENGEResponsibilities:1. Commercial Strategy and ExecutionTranslate national merchant strategy into field sales execution plans tailored to large and strategic accountsDefine sales targets, coverage models, and territory plans across Hunter, Farmer, and Funter profilesEnsure balanced commercial focus between new acquisition, retention, and development of key accountsMonitor pipeline health, performance indicators, and field execution quality using Salesforce CRMSupport strategic segmentation, pricing inputs, and tender documentation when relevant2. Team Leadership and Performance ManagementLead and coach a team of Field Sales Executives segmented by account type (Large, Strategic) and role (Hunter, Farmer, Funter)Set performance goals and implement regular tracking, feedback, and coaching rhythmsDrive a culture of commercial accountability, value selling, and customer-centric behaviorFacilitate recruitment, onboarding, and continuous upskilling of field sales talentConduct joint visits and field coaching to support deal progression and relationship building3. Ecosystem Enablement and Stakeholder CollaborationWork closely with Merchant Marketing to deliver co-branded campaigns and visibility programsCollaborate with Legal, Onboarding, and Product teams to ensure contract feasibility and merchant successParticipate in cross-functional initiatives to improve the merchant journey and ecosystem design4. Represent field sales insights in national commercial planning and go-to-market governance5. Sales Operations and GovernanceEnsure disciplined use of Salesforce CRM for all pipeline, performance, and reporting activitiesLead weekly performance reviews, forecasting sessions, and territory alignment reviewsSupport budget and resource planning for field sales activities, campaigns, and enablement toolsEnsure compliance with legal, fiscal, and operational standards in all merchant-facing interactionsYOU ARE A MATCH IF...Education:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related disciplineWork Experience:7+ years of experience in commercial or partnership management roles3+ years of experience in leading B2B field sales teams, preferably across segmented account structuresPrior experience in merchant ecosystems, payments, SaaS, or digital platforms is highly preferredSkills & Certifications:Strong command of Salesforce CRM for sales management and team coachingExpertise in strategic selling, pipeline management, and executive-level stakeholder engagementProficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)Languages:For global, regional, or area roles, fluency in English is required. Additional languages such as French, Spanish, Portuguese, or other relevant languages are an advantage.For local country leadership and management roles, fluency in the local language and English is required.For local individual contributor roles, fluency in the local language is required.
