The Center for Special Studies (CSS) offers the highest quality multi-disciplinary health care available for people with HIV and AIDS. CSS was certified by the New York State Department of Health in 1988 as a designated AIDS care facility. State of the art medical care is the centerpiece of our treatment philosophy which also extends to the psychological and social of individuals and families living with HIV and AIDS. 

Medical Surgical Technician - Center for Special Studies (TWO locations: East 68th Street and West 23rd Street)

Demonstrate excellence when expertise and superior service makes all the difference. Be the eyes and ears of an award-winning nursing department. Collaborate with nurses to raise the bar of patient care and Put Patients First. Take initiative and balance the perfect blend of patient care and clinical practices. Bring the best in care and caring, all while providing quality phlebotomy, EKG, and vital signs monitoring. Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment in our Ambulatory Care Network.

This is a day shift position and the schedule is 8:00 am - 5:30pm. You will be required to provide coverage at both our Weill Cornell location and our Chelsea location.

Preferred Criteria

• Preferred candidates have a Medical Assistant certification  
• Professional experience in an outpatient setting
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program

Required Criteria

• High School diploma or GED
