Position Description
Are you willing to go the extra mile to deliver stellar customer service? As the Medical Records Clerk, you'll have the opportunity to be one of our clients' first encounters with the client Clinical Services. In this role, you will register patients, collect payments, prepare and maintain the electronic medical records for the clients we serve, following HIPPA guidelines. Your interaction with our clients will create a lasting impression.

Skills Required
  • Registering Patients
  • HIPAA Compliance
  • Collecting Payments
  • Preparing & Maintaining Electronic Medical Records
  • Customer Service -Computer Skills

Skills Preferred
Bilingual skills in English and Spanish

Experience Required
  • 6 months’ experience registering patients in an electronic medical records system in a healthcare setting.
  • A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis

Experience Preferred
  • Experience gathering data from patients and creating medical records ·
  • Cashiering or cash handling experience

Education Required
High School Diploma or GED A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis

Additional Information
  • Must secure and maintain an Arizona Department of Public Safety Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card and complete a background check ·
  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Arizona driver’s license by the time of hire Backfill .
