We are currently seeking a fulltimeMedical Records Director to join our team atDecatur Correctional Center located inDecatur, Illinois.

The Medical Records Director at Vienna Correctional Center is responsible for directing, planning, coordinating, and administering the written and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) program. This professional is responsible for supervising and managing department operations and maintaining a complete, accurate healthcare record while supervising the medical records staff and maintaining the confidentiality of the healthcare records.

Pay rate: starting at $41.40/hr with RHIA-RHIT certification or $37.26/hr without an RHIA-RHIT certification 

Shift: Monday through Friday from 8a-4p

Qualifications

•    High school diploma or GED equivalent required 
•    Three (3) years of supervisory experience in medical records setting preferred 
•    Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) 
•    Medical terminology knowledge and/or medical terminology course completion preferred 
•    Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred 
•    Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
